Also known by Bast, Ubasti, Hagenti and Haagenti, Basted was an Ancient Egyptian Goddess who was seen as a protector, of both the Pharaoh and of the people from vermin, disease and so forth.
The best times to perform a ritual for Bastet are during November: 18 - 22
Candle Colour: Bay/chestnut
Although Bastet is seen as a Night being, she prefers to be contacted during the day.
Basted is about 5 foot 8 with beautiful long, curly, dark brown hair, brown/green eyes and an infectious smile, she has a soothing aura about her that just makes her presence gentle and warming.
Bastet usually provides protection and is a wonderful guardian, she also helps with the understanding and advancement of meditations.
Bastet does not like to use Sigils but prefers an Egyptian cat sculpture.
